”A pleasant surprise”
This was an amazing little place. So clean and comfortable. The young guy at the front desk was super professional and polite and helped us with some eating recommendations as well. Very close to everything we wanted to do in the Fisherman’s Wharf area too. Would definitely stay there again.

As an international student from Taiwan, this lodge is super close to my campus. Besides, the manager is very friendly. He introduced me the room and showed me around when I asked the quote in the beginning. While I stayed there, he even shared the sweet on Diwali (Festival of light). The room is quiet for winter season, and the bed is comfortable. I spend my last month in Monterey in this lodge. After all, highly recommended.

”What a GEM”
My wife and I just spent two nights at The Stage Coach Lodge. The staff was exceptional, the room immaculate. Centrally located, this is now our go-to for future trips to Monterey. We have spent TRIPLE the rate and had no better experience than this last trip!

”Wonderful!”
We stayed at Stage Coach Lodge for our first ever getaway to the Monterey Bay Peninsula. This motel is a bit older but it has been totally updated and the property is beautifully maintained. Great location too as we were able to easily travel up and down the Pacific Coast Highway from this site. The rooms are very comfortable, wonderfully decorated, and include great amenities. We were not disappointed and definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the Monterey area!

”Nice small motel”
We were visiting Monterey Aquarium with our children and grandchildren. 10 of us altogether. We all stayed at Stage Coach Lodge and had an enjoyable visit. The kids liked swimming in the small pool and being able to get some breakfast in the lobby before we went out. There are only 26 rooms in this motel, each somewhat different from the others & it is very quiet and located close to everything.

”Lazy simple trip to do nothing with hubby and daughter”
I would come back. Decent spacious parking. Room and beds were clean. Toilet flushed well. Tv had good channels. The bathroom fan works. Faucet/shower were easy to use. Hot and cold water worked. I really like their organic toiletries. Continental breakfast was perfect for us. It was a comfortable stay. No complaints about the actual room. But some things to consider... There do not appear to be any staff or security after 10 pm. On our first night on 9/3, there was a bit of drama where one of the female tenants was talking very loudly on her phone, fighting with her partner from 11 pm to 1 am. I wish there was a staff member to handle that. I regret not doing anything about it.

”Small hotel, super friendly staff”
We were welcomed very friendly and the lady showed us the rooms to choose from. Rooms were clean and okay. The breakfast area was a bit too small and the pool was too tiny to take a swim. The noise above from the 2nd floor was not nice and stole us some sleep

”Great Stay!”
We found this to be a very clean, comfortable hotel. Our room was recently redone. Large comfy king bed, very clean bathroom. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The only part that was a small disappointment was the breakfast. It could have been a little better. We would definitely stay there again.

”Nice little stay”
Not bad for the price. It isn't the Ritz Hotel but rooms were clean and the room was modernized. Very nice as a place to relax and sleep in between forays out to see the sites of Monterey.

”Cute Inn located minutes from airport ”
We needed a place for three families to stay, located close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rio.so as nice as we're shown on the website. Netherlands roomso were clean, nicely furnished, and a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was simple; cereal, toast and coffee. Will certainly keep this place in mind for future travel.
