”Small hotel, super friendly staff”
We were welcomed very friendly and the lady showed us the rooms to choose from. Rooms were clean and okay. The breakfast area was a bit too small and the pool was too tiny to take a swim. The noise above from the 2nd floor was not nice and stole us some sleep

”Great Stay!”
We found this to be a very clean, comfortable hotel. Our room was recently redone. Large comfy king bed, very clean bathroom. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The only part that was a small disappointment was the breakfast. It could have been a little better. We would definitely stay there again.

”Great little gem of a lodge”
This is a very well run hotel. Room 108 was quiet and so nice, not facing the parking lot. New upgrades in flooring, bathroom and furniture. Very impressive for the price! Lovely bougainvillea blooming in parking lot. Very thoughtful and accommodating manager. Great housekeeping staff. Highly recommend this place. Good location.. away from the touristy hotel row. A few blocks from the ocean.

”Comfortable, clean, and friendly, helpful staff”
My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights and right away, we knew we had made a great choice. The manager, Shiv, was very helpful and nice. Our room was very comfortable with great beds and super clean. As a matter of fact, the entire property was excellently maintained. The breakfast was well stocked and adequate....fruit, muffins, toast, cereal, danish, oatmeal, juice and coffee.

”Nice Stay”
Had room 202 which I am told is the nicest room. Very large room with fireplace and couch and king size bed. Room was clean and relaxing. Staff very friendly.

”Fantastic value in a very comfortable hotel”
The Stage Coach Lodge has to be the best value in Monterey, maybe anywhere. The room was very nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and quiet. As soon as we opened the door I said "Wow, I can't believe we got a room this nice for such a low price." The bed was excellent quality. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. The location is very quiet, yet very close to Highway 1 and close to Fisherman's Wharf. They even have a laundry for guests, very rare for a small hotel.

”Awesome Stay!”
First time stay. It was great. Rooms updated, clean, and roomy. We rode our motorcycles there. Very relaxing. Had a side yard for us to relax, play cards and have some wine from our travels. Would definitely stay again.

Manager could not have been more helpful. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Location excellent. Within 25 minutes had walked into the centre of monterey. Manager provided us with map and indicated the quickest way. Not a great variety for breakfast but plenty of it. Would not hesitate to comeback.

”Brilliant find in Monterey”
Excellent find, it provided more than our expectations. Very clean, great beds and wonderful staff. I was an easy car ride to everywhere in Monterey. We enjoyed every minute of this part of our holiday and a great place to come back to in the evening. The breakfast was more than adequate but not many tables to sit at. Would recommend to family and friends who wish to stay in Monterey.
